If Stevie Nicks’ performance with Taylor Swift at the Grammy’s on Sunday got you thinking about Fleetwood Mac, have no fear – word has it they’re touring with the Eagles this summer.
The classic rockers have plans to visit a number of stadiums across the U.S., which is a tall order for bands these days – U2, Madonna and the Police are the only bands who have braved the notion of filling out a 70,000-seat venue.
The two bands have beth been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and they will certainly be a huge hit on the summer tour circuit.

The legendary group Fleetwood Mac is on the road for their first concert tour in five years. Though the first two months are already over, Fleetwood Mac is far from stopping.
From now until the end of the month, Fleetwood Mac will be playing at cities around the world, including Sacramento, Las Vegas and San Diego.
“We love our band and think the title of the tour ‘UNLEASHED’ perfectly describes how we all feel when we get on stage together - especially in 2009. We’re so happy to get back out on the road, perform everyone’s favorite songs and see our fans,” the band said.

It’s hard to believe that Fleetwood Mac, the British rock band who formed in 1967, have had such a high turnover rate of band members despite the varying levels of success. From their formation in 1967 until 1974, no band members lasted longer than two years except the namesake drummer Mick Fleetwood.
The current members, Stevie Nicks (vocals), Lindsey Buckingham (guitar/vocals), John McVie (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums), have been together since 1998 and are currently in what they’ve dubbed their “Greatest Hits Tour.”
“This is the first time we’ve gone on the road without an album,” Mick Fleetwood said. “This is truly a new experience for Fleetwood Mac to go out and play songs that we believe and hope people are going to be familiar with and love.”
